Who
We Are
Joann
Ricci brings significant on-the-ground
experience in the arts, education reform, community organizing
and leadership development. She has led a statewide arts education
organization in Michigan, a community leadership development
program in the Midwest and a local arts council in Colorado.
Most recently, she served as a senior program director for
The Ball Foundation, an Illinois-based family foundation engaged
in national education reform grantmaking.
Joann
has served on various boards including the Urban Institute
for Contemporary Arts in Michigan, and as a grant reviewer
for philanthropic organizations, several state arts councils
and the National Endowment for the Arts. She is a frequent
presenter for conferences and workshops in the nonprofit field
and has served on the program committee for Grantmakers for
Education.
Jeff
Glebocki is nationally recognized for his extensive
and far-reaching service to the philanthropic and nonprofit
communities. He brings a particular expertise in working with
family and private foundations, and is an accomplished grantmaker,
executive and consultant. Jeff’s experience and content
knowledge is deeply rooted in philanthropic practice, education
grantmaking, civic affairs, community development, youth issues
and nonprofit management.
He
has served on the board and with several committees of Grantmakers
for Education (GFE), the national affinity group for education
funders, including the effort to develop “Principles
for Effective Education Grantmaking.” Jeff was a founding
board member of Philanthropy for Active Civic Engagement (PACE),
a new national affinity group; was a long-time board member
of the Grantmaker Forum on Community and National Service
and chair of their 2002 national conference; as well as a
board member of the Donors Forum of Ohio, the regional association
of grantmakers, and sat on several committees for its successor,
the Ohio Grantmakers Forum. Jeff has served on a number of
State commissions and task forces in Arizona and Ohio as an
appointee of Governors of those states.
We
can also call upon our network of other skilled
individuals with whom we can assemble project teams to quickly
address a range of needs, challenges and timelines. The talents
represented include media relations, policy advisors, graphic
design and academic research.
